פיוטר הואנג זכה במקום הראשון (לגברים בוגרים) בתחרות הבין-לאומית לריקוד סיני קלאסי של רשת הטלוויזיה "שושלת טאנג החדשה" (NTDTV) בשנת 2014. הוא למד לתואר מתקדם בריקוד סיני קלאסי ב"אקדמיית פיי טיאן לאמנויות" בניו יורק.
